Not too hot for disc golf in DeKalb

Daniel Johnson, 28, of Genoa, putts on the sixth hole of the disc golf course at Prairie Park in DeKalb around midday Friday.

Johnson, who said he’s moving to Malta soon, said the course is among his favorites, and that the DeKalb Disc Golf group is pitching the city on expanding the nine-hole course to 18 buckets. He said a repurposed hunting camera was installed at the course to show how many people are using it.
